Here is some initial information about the degree paper course VT2011.

Suggestions for subjects that supervisors have an interest in is here, for Sven-Olof Collin,

Tip for finding problem: Contact an organisation and ask them (reactive), or preferably, find a problem you should observe (pro-active). Take a look at the last chapter of an old dissertation (preferably Magister or Master), and the last section of this chapter, typically entitled 'Future research' or 'Fortsatt forskning'. There you find many good ideas and inspiration for possible subjects of your own dissertation. Remember that if you inspect published dissertations, they are not always a good example. Always consult your supervisor before being inspired.

Example of a magister dissertations that I think is the prototype of an excellent civilekonom dissertation is here. Two other examples of well crafted Magister dissertation (15 hp, i.e., half the time compared to a Civilekonom) are here and here. Finally, here is an example of a dissertation with very interesting empirical method, survey experiment (note that it is old and on Bachelor level)

Min kursrapport för VT2011 finns här och studenternas kursutvärdering finns här (svarsfrekvens var 100%!, men maskinen kunde inte läsa en inlämning, varför analysen innehåller svar från 96,7% av kursens deltagare. Därmed är vi säkert bland de bästa på Linné. Hurra!)
